Dr. Shobha Iyer

Dr. Shobha Iyer holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Doctorate of Medicine (MD), and is a  Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). She works as a consultant paediatrician and has been a general paediatrician for over 25 years.

Dr. Iyer was originally trained in India, completing a full fellowship in paediatrics and child health.

She has a special interest in babies, preterm follow up, feeding issues, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and behavioural issues, as well as other general paediatric issues.

Her practicing philosophy is to maintain a family and patient centred approach to medicine.

Dr. Iyer is fluent in both Hindi and Tamil, and is currently working at Sunshine Hospital.
